Faster than stairs, but needs upkeep.

Escalator provides a faster way to move people between floors than stairs, but requires power and has maintenance cost.
They are best for short connections rather than a tower-wide route.
Tall escalators
When placed across a two-story room or two-story wallpaper, the escalator will span three floors instead of the usual 2.
