Open the summary window with the default backtick key (`), then choose Projects. Review the sponsor, requirements, advance, completion reward and available project slots before activating an offer.

Offers depend on the map, earned stars and completed prerequisite projects. Earlier unlocked offers remain part of the available set. Read the actual card: some contracts require rooms built after activation, so an existing block of offices may not count.

If a sustained condition stops qualifying, its hold period resets. A connected-room project locks onto a qualifying group; losing a required member also resets that group's progress and accumulated visitor count. Keep the qualifying rooms accessible, powered and serviced throughout the hold.
Certain projects may require a minimum hold period. If the conditions of the project stop qualifying, its hold period resets.

Office Expansion example
Abandoning a project
Office Expansion I becomes available at one star in the standard maps. It requires a 4-by-3 block of twelve new offices, all leased for one full displayed calendar month. Easy Office Expansion I requires the same twelve new leased offices but accepts them anywhere in the tower.
Abandoning costs twice the upfront grant payment. It also starts the contract's cooldown before it can be activated again.

The later Office Expansion stages use 4×4, 5×4, 5×5 and 6×5 blocks. Each later stage requires its preceding contract. The easy alternatives use the corresponding room counts without the contiguous footprint requirement.
For example, with a $240,000 advance, that fee is $480,000.

For the first normal or easy expansion, the dollar display shows a $240,000 advance and $360,000 completion reward. Twelve base offices cost $1,200,000 before supporting floors, transport and upkeep. The advance therefore does not finance the whole build. Plan the remaining cash and allow time for tenants to arrive; see Budget, Market demand and Needs and requirements.

Income projects
Recurring operating net means recurring income minus recurring expenses. Construction, one-off sales, grants and visitor cash receipts do not count toward that recurring rate. An income contract can require both a minimum rate and growth from the rate when accepted; use the target shown on its card.

A profitable-looking recent budget period does not guarantee that the recurring target is met. Budget explains the distinction and gives worked examples.

Abandonment
Abandoning costs twice the advance, clears progress and starts the contract's cooldown before it can be activated again. For a $240,000 advance, that fee is $480,000. Keep enough cash for this possibility before accepting a large build. The card's abandonment control reflects whether the fee is affordable.

Projects are optional tasks you can decide to take on. They provide incentives to expand your tower for some extra money. You can find projects in the tower summary's Projects view.

Projects provide advance funding and completion rewards for meeting specific conditions. They are separate from Star rating: finishing a project does not directly award a star.

Projects
Projects

Open the tower summary window, and click on the Projects tab. Review available projects that align with your short-term goals and click Start Project. Be careful with which projects you wish to take on as you can only have up to two active projects. Abandoning a project will cost double the upfront grant.

Different projects will appear as you earn more stars and complete projects.

Types of projects

There are a few types of projects in the game.

Requirement How to satisfy it Common mistake
New occupied rooms Build new qualifying rooms after activating a project and keep them leased when occupancy is required. Counting vacant rooms or rooms built before starting a project.
Connected layout Match the required contiguous arrangement (if specified), including aligned rows and floors where specified. Building the right total in scattered locations.
Visitor target Meet the visitor condition shown for the qualifying group. Assuming construction alone completes a visitor contract.
Recurring income Maintain the required recurring daily net income for the full hold period. One-off sales, grants or nightly income are not recurring income.
Sustained progress Keep the condition satisfied for the displayed consecutive calendar months. Letting a required room lose its lease or the income rate fall below target.

Certain projects may require a minimum hold period. If the conditions of the project stop qualifying, its hold period resets.

Abandoning a project

Abandoning costs twice the upfront grant payment. It also starts the contract's cooldown before it can be activated again.

For example, with a $240,000 advance, that fee is $480,000.
