A Parking Ramp provides Car Access to rooms, Parking Stalls, and any other Parking Ramps that are directly above or below an existing ramp.

For a Parking Ramp to have Car Access, it must be placed on the ground floor, or directly above or below another Parking Ramp with Car Access. Parking Ramps that are not properly connected will show a no car access icon.

Parking Ramps can be assigned a tower-wide parking fee. A high parking fee may affect your tenant's rating and discourage visitors.

Overview

  • Construction cost: $150,000
  • Maintenance: $500 per day
  • Active power use: 1

Strategy

Certain rooms that require Car Access including the Delivery Dock and Garbage Docks must be placed next to a Parking Ramp or Parking Stall.

For maps that are short on underground space, it may be desirable to place parking above ground. However, be aware that parking ramps and parking stalls both negatively affect the surrounding environment.
