A Paternoster is a continuously moving passenger transport. Its cars serve every floor in the shaft. Cars draw power continuously, and carrying passengers adds to consumption.
The paternoster is a continuous loop of passenger cars that can span up to 15 floors. Its continuous nature allows passengers to move up and down at the same time. Due to the limited capacity of the cars, its throughput will be lower than that of elevators.

A shaft requires 2 cars plus 2 additional cars per floor. Each car costs {{Game Money|cost=25000}} to build and {{Game Money|cost=400}} per day to maintain, in addition to the system cost.
Workers pushing carts can use a paternoster.

The paternoster is a continuous loop of passenger cars that can span up to 15 floors. Its continuous nature allows passengers to move up and down at the same time. Due to the limited capacity of the cars, its throughput will be lower than that of elevators.

Workers pushing carts can use a paternoster.

Strategy

Use a Paternoster fits well in areas that have little traffic but still need elevator transport access. Carts and bins used by workers can also be used on a Paternoster.
