Stairs provides a cheap way to move people between floors. It always just works and requires no upkeep. The down side is that it is slow and cannot be used by people pushing carts or bins.
Stairs can be stacked on top of another stair to form a staircase.
When placed across a two-story room or two-story wallpaper, the stairs will span three floors instead of the usual 2.
