Decor and wallpaper let you furnish the tower, customize its appearance and improve its local environment. Choose decor from Decoration and wallpaper from Architecture in the build palette. Lobbies and skybridges are included below because they use wallpaper construction.

Choosing decorations

Decor pieces are built immediately, occupy one floor, need no staff and have no base maintenance or power demand. Their environment contribution can help nearby evaluated rooms, but it is not a guaranteed increase in a tenant's final evaluation score. Use Room evaluation and the environment view to check the result.

Prices below use the game's dollar display and exclude supporting floors. Decor prices are per piece; widths are in tiles. Most decor gives +10 environment; plants give +20. Graffiti also gives +10.

Plants

All plants cost $200 and contribute +20 environment.

Plants Width
Bamboo, Bonsai, Cactus, Fan Palm, Fern, Fig, Monstera, Orchid, Pothos, Potted Monstera, Rubber Tree, Snake Plant, Succulent 3
Feather Fern 2

Seating

All seating costs $300 and contributes +10 environment. These are decorative furnishings; they do not replace a functional room or service.

Seating Width
Ornate Armchair, Rounded Armchair 2
Chesterfield, Loveseat, Modular Sofa, Slat Bench, Sofa, Waiting Chairs 3
Wide Sofa 6

Paintings

Fern Study, Rolling Hills, Sailboat, Skyline and Waterfall each cost $250, occupy 4 tiles and contribute +10 environment.

Lights

All 23 light fixtures cost $300 and contribute +10 environment. Their materials can be recolored and their artwork includes illumination. They do not consume operational power or supply power to other rooms.

Lights Width
Bronze Sconce, Bulkhead, Cage Pendant, Candle Sconce, Carriage Lantern, Cylinder Sconce, Dome Pendant, Drum Pendant, Fan Light, Fan Sconce, Globe Pendant, Lantern Sconce, Lattice Sconce, Paper Lantern, Saucer Pendant, Triple Pendant 2
Deco Chandelier, Double Dome, Fluorescent, Globe Chandelier, Lantern Cluster, Linear Pendant, Ring Pendant 4

Statues

Cat, Crane, Deer, Elephant, Owl and Stone Gate each cost $600, occupy 4 tiles and contribute +10 environment.

Signs

All signs cost $200 and contribute +10 environment. Signs are decoration: placing an Elevator Sign, Restroom Sign or First Aid Sign does not provide that service.

Signs Width
Access Sign, Cafe Sign, Exit Sign, Restroom Sign 3
Elevator Sign, First Aid Sign 2

Fountains and graffiti

Fountain and Graffiti each cost $300, occupy 4 tiles and contribute +10 environment. The fountain is decorative; Graffiti does not impose an environment penalty.

Floor numbers

Floor Number displays its current floor number. It costs $200, occupies 2 tiles and contributes +10 environment. Use it for wayfinding on important floors. It can be relocated, but has no horizontal-flip control.

Colors, relocation and flipping

Use the query tool to inspect a decoration. Where color controls are available, change its material colors or select Reset colors to restore the defaults.

All the decor above can be relocated. With the cursor tool, click and hold a piece to move it; the query window also provides its relocation action. All listed decor except Floor Number supports horizontal flipping. Press R while building or relocating a supported piece, or use Flip horizontally in its query window. The picker tool preserves a picked room's colors and horizontal orientation when building more copies. See Controls and interface for configurable keybindings.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper decorates floor sections. Place it with the Architecture palette; use the query tool to edit the colors of a continuous section with matching style and colors. The controls expose primary, secondary and floor colors where supported. Apply or closing the window keeps the changes; Cancel restores the colors from when the window opened, and Reset colors restores the style's defaults. The picker tool copies an existing style and its colors.

The price below is per newly installed wallpaper tile, in addition to any floor construction. A two-story style covers tiles on both floors, so a one-tile-wide new Two-Story Lobby section has $200 of wallpaper before floor costs. Environment figures are the finish's contribution, not a final room score. Neutral finishes give no environment bonus; wallpaper hidden under rooms does not add the same benefit as exposed corridor wallpaper.

Glass corridors and balustrades

These are wallpaper finishes. Choosing one does not build a skybridge across an unsupported gap; use the Skybridge tool for that.

Finish Cost per tile Environment Appearance
Sky Lobby $100 +50 Grey posts and stone lower trim
Cross Brace $1,000 +50 Cross bracing
Warren Truss $1,000 +50 Triangular truss bracing
Glass Balustrade $1,000 +50 Low glass railing
Metal Balustrade $1,000 +50 Vertical metal railing
Truss Balustrade $1,000 +50 Low truss railing

Lobbies

Lobby and Two-Story Lobby must start on the ground floor. Both cost $100 per wallpaper tile and contribute +10 environment. Lobby covers one floor; Two-Story Lobby spans the ground floor and the floor above. Keep both floors available for the two-story placement and check the full preview and cost before building. Ordinary wallpaper placement rules still apply around rooms and existing skybridges.

Sky Lobby is the one-floor glass corridor finish listed above. It is not restricted to the ground floor.

Skybridges

A Skybridge joins separated floor sections at the same height so people can walk between them. Select Skybridge in the build palette, then point into the gap and click to build the full span.

  • The gap must be 8–80 tiles wide and above the ground floor.
  • Both ends need existing floor sections on the same level, and the entire gap must be inside the build area.
  • The two floors immediately above and the two immediately below the gap must be clear of floor tiles.
  • The wallpaper component costs $5,000 per tile, plus the floor construction cost. It contributes +50 environment. Read the total in the placement preview.
  • A valid preview covers the full gap. Invalid placement is marked with a red tile at the pointer; an unaffordable span is also shown in red.

Skybridge floor tiles cannot support an ordinary floor or room above them. A fire can destroy a skybridge, breaking the route; see Disasters.

Planning tips

Choose plants when a larger environment contribution matters, and use smaller pieces where space is tight. Keep enough space for functional rooms and access routes. A decorative sign, seat or light does not satisfy a tenant's need for a service room.

Use Construction and demolition for supporting floors and refunds, Room evaluation to investigate complaints and Modding for custom decor or wallpaper.
